I wanted to do this a while ago, but couldn't get the stupid pictures off my phone and gave up. Then Song reminded me that kitty pictures are a necessary part of life, and I forced my phone to cooperate and LO! there were pictures. Biscuit being cute. Her fur is like fluffy soft bunny fur still, even at a year old. Biscuit doing crazy eyes, which is followed by OMGRUNAROUNDTHEHOOUUUUSSSEEE~ She sits with me while I bead, but those beads are just so, so tempting... Gigi (the name Jean actually responds to...) is SO hard to photograph because she's black and she either looks like a blobby shadow, or all weird and washed out like this. But sometimes I get a good shot. <3

Holy crap! Kitty pictures! I love you! They're both so gorgeous! Biscuit has such an innocent look (but you can tell she's trouble from those eyes). And black cats are so gorgeous and elegant! How is it raising two cats? Do they get along? Do they tend to stick together or they have their favorites among the humans? And do you have a favorite? Here is the Prince, the Khal and various other titles, Drogo himself. I too had problems with my phone. These pics are from March. He's grown a bit bigger since then. That's not his grumpy face, he's always like that. Even more grumpy: I love the heck out of this boy. He's my Valium. Best cat anyone could ask for - smart, gentle, loving and very cooperative. ~~~~~~~~~~~ And this is my mom's cat, formerly my own, before I decided she's way too much for me to handle. The pillow says it all. I love the heck out of this cat, too, only in very small amounts, like coming back home for holidays and such. She drives me insane otherwise, she's a bloody storm! I've never seen so much willpower in a cat in my entire life.

Oh my goodness, he is so big and beautiful! After all the struggles he had as a little guy, it's great to see him all grown and healthy. We have no troubles with the girls together, but that's because they met when Gigi was 5 weeks and Biscuit was not even 3 weeks old. They play and share food and have never once gotten into a fight. In the winter, they snuggle with humans and each other, but right now, they are as far from each others body heat as possible. Biscuit is very much "my" cat - follows me all over, sits on the couch with me, sleeps on my face, and throws a fit if I go outside where she can't follow - but she loves my kids and my husband, too. Gigi loves my daughters most, I think. She's... aloof, so it's not easy to tell if she loves anyone sometimes. She is a pretty aggressive, surly cat - I'm worried she will attack strangers that come to look at our house... XD - but she begs to be let into my daughters' room in the morning for snuggle time. I adore Biscuit. No cat could ever replace Wesley, but she has really calmed the pain and guilt of losing him in a way I just didn't think possible. Yeah, she's my baby.

Aww, I'm so glad to hear that about Biscuit! You deserve all the best in cats after losing Wesley. Cats have such different personalities, it's mind blowing. God knows what's going on in Jean's mind. This is why cats are so fascinating to me - approaching humans is always in their terms, whereas with a dog you know you get obsessive sincere adoration every time. It's like in the Planet of the Apes, only with Cats. We have moody, brooding or ruling variants. Take your pick!

These are my cats... well, sadly they used to be mine. Now they are living with my ex husband and his stupid ugly new girlfriend (I know how mean does it sound, but believe me, she is stupid. And ugly). I miss them very, very much... Elegant and patient, here's Sansa: And Milva, a crazy crazy crazy cat: Sansa and Milva together:
