Hmm… I would have to add my vote to the others who would like Valygar, BGII and Kivan, BGI. I would also love to see a new take on Solaufein. So much potential there. Dark, brooding, damaged… What would life have been like for a male in that society, especially if he managed to hold on to any tender feelings. I did like the Weimer mod, very much. I would just love to see another take on him.

DA: Inquisition - I was a bit disappointed that fem inquisitor couldn't romance Cassandra. I was surprised how fast she grew on me - her love for sappy romances was absolutely adorable.
Pillars of Eternity - Altoh and Eder. I just wish for /some/ romance to be in the game, but if I had my pick, my chara would definitely go for one of them.
Dragon Age - Nathaniel. It's been so many years and I'm still sad that his romance isn't a thing. *sigh*
Baldur's Gate 2 - I wish the original, unmodded game had more romances than just Anomen for the female Bhaalspawn. I don't really want to have more of them now because the modders already created pretty much all romances I ever wanted, but... I wouldn't mind a Cernd one happening sometime.

Cassandra was indeed adorable once you got to know her, I agree Since no romances have popped up yet I'm guessing PoE must be difficult to add romances into. Siigh, such a shame. Still, we can hope that someone will figure out a way one day. And yes! A Cerned mod that doesn't repeatedly bash him all the time as the game seems to XD

At first I thought she'd be a strict, fanatical paladin of sorts, but she turned out to be an adorable puppy I wanted to protect. (Silly, considering she was my tank of choice). There are already some mods that fix this or that, like deleting immersion-breaking backer messages, so I guess the game is quite mod-able. I'm not sure how big it's fandom is. BG-BG2 both had/still have a pretty huge modding community, but I guess it took some time before it really took off. Fingers crossed PoE goes the same way! I remember that I really liked Cernd's design when I first played the game. I'm still not over his romantic encounter from the BG2 mod - Aeryn is so, so good at writing this stuff. I die a little inside whenever I remember the Sarevok one she wrote for RE, too (in a good way. *hides*).

She is! I'm allergic to Paladins in general, but Cassandra proved to be extremely entertaining with lots of variation and personality in her character.
Yeah I've seen UI tweeks and such but I'm not sure howmuch they can change or how easy it is to do so. The big advantage BG/BG2 had was Weimer making WeiDU which while still requiring a fair amount of learning and understanding to use, also made modding a lot easier for the BG community as a whole I think. From what I recall his Solaufein mod was one of the first romance mods out for BG. I think PoE was made with... what was it called, Unity was it? Which has made some things easier and harder.
Yes, the Cernd RE encounter <3 And she is, I think I'd be willing to give a number of different mods a try if they were written by her XD

My fem Inquisitor was best buddies with Dorian, whom I was sure I'd dislike when I first read his profile. Yeah, PoE is running on Unity if I recall correctly. I heard it can be surprisingly annoying to mod for, but it's certainly not impossible. I wouldn't mind having a mod that just adds extra lines to the existing conversations - I felt that many of the dialogue lines were already kind of touching/borderline romantic, at least in Eder and Aloth's case. Cernd and Sarevok were two of my fave REs from BG II. I remember that after checking who wrote them, I instantly downloaded her Haer'Dalis and Sarevok's romances, lol. Aeryn is such a good writer! ;-;

For Pillars of Eternity: though I found somehow refreshing not having romance,I would not mind hitting on Edér,Pallegina or Hivarias.

Haven't posted here in a while but I've been keeping up via lurk mode. Anyway, I just finished Jade Empire for the first time and really wish Sagacious Zu had been romanceable. I ended up romancing Sky with no complaints, however.
