The Hound, Arya, and Tyrion are my favorites. Although, now that I'm reading the books, I have to say that Peter Dinklage is way too pretty to be Tyrion. I wish he was as unattractive as he was originally imagined, though I understand the why of it - it's HBO. It's the same reason there's sex everywhere, and totally pointless nudity, and a "record number of c*nts and f*cks". On Jaime and Cersei - she is just POISON! He is so amazing when he is not influenced by her, but she is just vile in every way possible. Her son's death seems to have pushed her even deeper into whatever psychosis she suffers from. I really hope Jaime sees the light sooner rather than later. Dany is kind of boring me at this point. It doesn't seem like she's doing anything. Meh. Moar dragons! That would probably help. Everything in the Stannis storyline is dull, dull, dull. Of course, I felt that way at the end of the last season about Reek and the bastard who made a woman out of him, but now I'm finding that story intriguing. So, maybe something will happen there to change my tune. And man do I like Sam! but I wanted to smack him for ditching Gilly in that hellhole! Not going to end well, methinks.

Hmmm... (most of this is from memory, haven't touched the books in a while and not watching season 4) I really like the Hound for never kissing Joffrey's a** while almost everyone else around him did that. Jaime Lannister's character development was awesome. From cocky, overconfident swordsman to someone who bears his destiny better than most. I think he's refreshingly sane and occasionally sarcastic in this whole mess. Arya. I really want to know how her story continues, but GRRM hardly mentioned her in the last book. I actually like Varys and Littlefinger. I admire them for their wit and their ability to not only survive but thrive in a viper's nest like King's Landing. I'll never forget Littlefinger's dry comment about how you have to do something really non-sensical once in a while just to keep every other player in the game guessing. Tyrion and Ser Jorah are old favorites too, but one talks too much about food lately and the other is mostly off the radar. And Daenerys. Once of the few people whose level of power has not produced an equal level of asshattery. Though I have to admit, I'm a little less keen on the series than I used to be. I get the feeling that Martin is not that interested in finishing it, given the breaks he takes, and he just might have killed a few too many characters for me - I tend to keep a bit of an emotional distance now, since I can't shake the thought "will probably die in a stupid way" whenever I start to like a character.

OMG, I cried like a baby at the Jaime/Brienne scene and I don't even ship them!
On the bright side, "Marrying a Targaryen was all the rage back then!" ROFL! Olenna Tyrell never disappoints.

I think I like the Tyrells that I've seen so far and Arya the most (haven't read the books so I don't know a huge amount about most of the characters) Brienne looked so good in that dark armour in the recent episode too! But I did wonder how he knew her size. Hmm, from the bath scene? And yes, Olenna Tyrell is always entertaining to watch <3

Heh, I think there's not much that can impress me with Lysa now, after the "baby" suckling episode a few seasons ago.... Yucks!
LOL, I think Jon Snow only has feelings for his dog. I swear I've never seen that character smile so fondly until now.
I may not like Cersei, but damn I like Lena Headey! I love how she's playing the character a lot. You can read her every thought on her face.
And speaking of amazing acting, I just want to mention Brienne. How cool is that actress, huh?

By the Gods of the Seven Kingdoms, that was some powerful KICK ASS amazing acting from Peter Dinklage!
The whole trial blew me away, especially Tyrion and Jaime. And I've read the friggin books two times.
*blink*
*blink*
PS: Also getting the hots for Iwan Rheon. I don't even.

When Tyrion started melting down, I was near tears even though some things he said made me laugh aloud. He thinks he's at his lowest point, and apparently doesn't care if he lives or dies, and that is just so damned heartbreaking because it ain't over yet. I've never been a fan of Shae, but now... hell, I can't even admire her incredible wellspring of fury (woman scorned and all that) because she's using it against Tyrion! I hope her fate doesn't change.
The How to Train Your Dragon moment was great. I get a sick sort of pleasure every time Dany's narrow little definition of "reality" gets smacked down. Her ignorance is starting to become hard to believe, honestly. I know she's young and new to all of this ruling and conquering crap, but there are times when she comes across as downright stupid. I don't hate her, I just wish she would mature or gain some wisdom or something.

I really thought the bones the shepherd was carrying were of his kid. My TV is...well, let's just say it has issues...and I can't see the subtitles to know what they're saying. I hope it was just a goat.

It was a goat! The skull had horns. I've heard that the dragons start killing kids at some point, but I don't know if it just hasn't gotten that bad yet, or if they're going to change things up for HBO.

I was busy, just seen this Monday's episode. Wow, definitely one of the best ones in all 4 seasons! So glad they didn't skip the castle in the snow scene, it's one of my favorite from the entire series (less the part about Littlefinger and more the part where she remembers Winterfell). And I officially started mourning one of my favorite characters. In advance. One question: Do you think Dany banged Daario? I know it says so in the books, but I found it very odd that they didn't show a thing to us. It's not like they're prude or anything, we've seen Dany's boobs before (and many others). Why wouldn't they show a thing? Maybe she just made him stand there naked all night. I wouldn't be surprised to have a reveal like that.
