I am very curious how Sandal and Flemeth will fit in this story. Sandal's prophecy suggests that they are connected on some level. As for Sandal, was he abandoned in the Deep Roads, an if so, by whom? Or was he an only survivor, like the Inquisitor seems to be? Does Sandal have a connection with the Fade, which seems unlikely for a dwarf? Anyway, we saw Sandal as a last man standing on a pile of bodies more than once. Is this a coincidence, a red herring or there is something more to it?

Thanks for the info, Gileadan! Wow, I didn't even recognize Leli. Hope she doesn't watch me while I'm sleeping again...

I hope they continue to have easy peasy mode for people who just want to see the story and companion interactions. I hate reloading...

Seems that Gwendoline Christie, alias Brienne of Tarth, was doing Voice Over for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Caroline Livingstone had mentioned it on her Twitter, but seems that she deleted the message afterwards. So it's an unconfirmed possibility, but still a nice one:)

Sorry for the double post.
I've spend some time today listening to Trevor Moriss' scores. I really love Inon Zur and his work, but I have a feeling that Trevor is to be a good choice. If DAI is going to be anything like Pillars of Earth, count me in as a fan:)

Hopefully this will be more like Dragon Age Orgins and less like Dragon Age 2. I am cautious but optimistic besides at least they brought the elves back as an option for PCs. I'm hoping that I can make an elven mage...though how that would work with the whole Inquisition theme I have no idea. It could be interesting to see though. Still Cullen is a romance option which is good in my book unless they make him another Anomen or a complete goody goody.
I don't understand why Bioware fears making male romance options that aren't good guys so much. I'll take a complicated bad guy over a paladin type any day! I've never met a fully good romance option that was very interesting. Too much good makes it boring and unbelievable to me. Men are not saints and neither are women flaws make things more interesting but that's just my opinion and I'll put my soapbox away now.....

Well, judging from Cullen's past, he could be not so goody-goody after all. But I hope he won't be too one dimensional now (I mean, after all there is still a part of him who was in love with a mage, once:)

It would be very nice if he was a bit of a bad guy or at least had flaws and wasn't completely one dimensional. I'm really hoping I can play a mage so I can romance Cullen with her. If that's possible something tells me it will be...dramatic. Or at least I hope so anyway. I need to re-install and replay the first two games before this comes out so I can see how the different choices effect the game as a whole. It looks like it could be a very good game but I'm still nervous about how dialog and combat will be handled. Combat in DA2 was beyond annoying. I hate excessive fighting....I'm here for the story not the combat! The dialog in Orgins was handled much better than in DA2...that wheel ugh. But I have hope it will still be a good game overall. I can overlook a few things if they give me back my origin options and give me a good story to go with them!

The trailer was nice looking, I usually stay away from info about games that I'm anticipating because I don't want to get too restless and be freaking out about them , but today I stumbled upon Inquisition trailer. Should not have seen it because it looks really really good. I have but one complaint, though. I'm not sure what the hype is with the new engine, but the characters' faces looked mofo ugly.

I'm actually looking forward to playing a DA game at the same time everyone else is. I came on DAO and II both well after the fact and had to play catch up. I liked the trailer as well, but I'm trying hard to avoid anything too spoilery. NPC names and class options are fine but I think once more game info starts being released, I will skip over the DAI boards at BSN just to be safe. People can't seem to help but put spoilers in their thread titles, even while marking it "spoiler". Well, duh!

Well, well. Not sure if anyone here paid attention to it, but a while ago they announced the "Inquisitor's Edition", i.e. the collector's edition for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Some of the extras in it look interesting, though I have to admit that many of them just aren't my thing. The map, of course, is awesome. Nothing wrong with the inquisitor's badge, either. But a quill and inkpot? An empty notebook to write in? No artbook, soundtrack, making of, fancy statue? Hmmm. And the price. 170,- US$. Or, if you're European, 160,- €, which is about 220 US$. Unless you live in a country that doesn't have Gamestop, because it's a Gamestop exclusive and Gamestop apparently doesn't ship across national borders, then you can't even get it. And if you play on PC, there isn't a collector's edition at all for you. As an European PC gamer, I feel so appreciated as a potential customer. Then again, there's only one game coming out in the next 12 months where I really really want the Collector's Edition, and this one ain't it.

My spouse made certain I saw that. I told him for that price it should have the series including expansions. I can wait for the Origin, steam, or beam dog version. The big wait around here is my Mathsorcerer is a backer for Wasteland, he already has his Desert ranger T shirt, know he is just waiting for the game ( listen to the clock tick )

I don't get why they keep the same price in dollars and euros, when the conversion rate is not 1, it doesn't make any sense. Probably they got a good deal from Gamestop. It's all about the money. I'm kinda feel flattered that they made this console exclusive. At least they didn't think it would work for PC players. My guess is they will pull another one - a decent one - that will be aimed at both PC and console players, and then they will be able to charge for both of them. However, the only thing that could possibly convince me to buy a Collector's Edition from BioWare is a nekkid, real life sized, Cullen statue. Until then, consider me unimpressed.

Oh wow, really? That's the collector's edition? An artbook and soundtrack are pretty much the main reason I buy collector's editions, without them it's just.... Well extra junk that I'm not really interested in. Of course not being for PC immediately counts me out anyway. Seriously, they can make a PC version of the game but not the collector's edition? ... and they do realize that most of the people who like having a cloth map from what I've seen are, in fact, the PC gamers Because it reminds them of the older PC games that tended to come with these things. On the upside this means I get to save myself a bit of cash Apparently there's also a Deluxe edition that just offers digital in-game content (one of those things being a soundtrack). I might go for that if my local store puts up a PC version of it.
