Inuyasha?
Enlighten me please
Okay I've been seeing a lot of Inuyasha-related fanfics, fanart... and heck even its share of fandom wank. Is the series any good? I admit I hardly watch anime anymore so I'm curious.
As a side note, I also noticed that one of the characters look a lot like Kurama of Yu Yu Hakusho. Another fox spirit of sorts?

I think you're referring to Inuyasha himself..he's a half demon (hence the dog ears...)
Here's a link for some basics of the story: novacaine.net/inu-yasha/
I watch it on and off on Adult Swim when I get the chance, and it's certainly got a large enough following that it must be pretty good.
I'll have to get my cousin on this board - she's knows *everything* about Inuyasha...

I know this topic is kind a old.. but here is my two cents on Inuyasha.
At first I really like it (and I still think the plot is good and entertaining)
Sadly though I think after the 120 episode it is getting a bit old.. though I am still curious as to what happens.. it seems it just keeps repeating it self.
But still it is worth a look and Inuyasha has a really hot older brother

As to why it gets old, it falls into one of the traps of the longer running series: it catches up to the manga. Being that its based off the manga, this is a bad thing. So, once that happens they have a few options:
1) End the series, wait for the manga to get ahead again, and start up a new season.
2) Make up stuff until the manga is far enough ahead then start back up where it left off.
3) Make up your own story separate from the manga and ignore the manga from here on out.
Inu Yasha chose the second. That's why there's a large portion that's repetitive, since when you're making "filler" episodes, you can't actually accomplish anything significant, because that might mess up continuity when you pick back up with the manga again. So, the show can start feeling empty.
